We are honored to recognize Stakeholder Rhonda Rhodes as our October Illuminated Ivy. Her contributions to the community and the Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay, Inc. (IEF) have made an undeniable impact on countless lives.
With a deep commitment to uplifting others, Rhonda has been a key figure in organizations like Northside Mental Health Center, Alpha House, and REACHUP, Inc. (RU), a minority-led, 501(c)(3) community-based organization she helped establish. Under her leadership, REACHUP has served as a model for grassroots organizations by addressing public health disparities, particularly in reducing infant mortality rates in underserved communities by 58% since 1998. Rhonda’s leadership as Board Chair continues to guide REACHUP’s 25-year legacy of saving lives and creating workforce pipelines.
Her work within the Ivy Enrichment Foundation is equally impressive. As Co-Chair of the Financial Resources Committee since 2020, she has helped raise over $220,000 for programs that benefit Hillsborough County families. Rhonda’s leadership was also instrumental in the success of the 2024 Purposefully Implementing Next-Level Change (P.I.N.C) Gala, which raised $104,000 for scholarships and services.
With over 40 years of membership in Gamma Theta Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and her ongoing service to IEF, Stakeholder Rhonda exemplifies humor, humility, compassion, and integrity in all that she does.
We are proud to celebrate Rhonda’s outstanding accomplishments and lasting impact.
