Back to School B.U.S. (Backpacks. Uniforms. School Supplies)

The Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay's Back to School BUS Program is a targeted initiative catering to the needs of female students in grades 6-8 from Title I schools. This program consists of five one-and-a-half-hour workshops facilitated by community leaders with expertise in leadership, education, career advancement, and community development. The workshops focus on essential topics such as Education Awareness, Healthy Relationships, Human Trafficking Awareness, Hygiene 2.0, and Self-Esteem Awareness.

The objective is to guide and empower students to create a vision board and establish goals and targets for the upcoming school year. Each participant completing at least three of the five workshops will receive a backpack filled with essential school supplies (paper, pens, folders, pencils, colored pencils, binder, etc.) and a complete uniform to ensure a successful school year. The program aims to provide up to seventy-five Units of Service annually, with a "Unit of Service" defined as a student who has successfully completed a minimum of three workshops.

To measure the program's impact, 80% of Back to School BUS participants completing three workshops are expected to demonstrate increased awareness for enhancing their learning experience through the preparation of a vision board and the development of goals and targets. This impact will be assessed through the completion of a self-assessment survey, aligning with the Ivy Enrichment Foundation's commitment to holistic education and empowerment.
