Ivy Pace Connection

The Ivy Pace Connection (IPC) Program by the Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay is designed to empower and educate up to fourteen female students at the Pace Center for Girls. This initiative comprises four one-hour workshops, facilitated by community professionals and Foundation members, focusing on essential life skills, self-worth, and self-preservation. Workshop topics cover communication, personal branding, strategic thinking/problem solving, job readiness, and teamwork.

Participants, required to attend three out of the four workshops, will receive necessary supplies and materials for engaging sessions. The program concludes with a finale event to celebrate and showcase the students' achievements. Annually, the foundation commits to providing up to fourteen Units of Service, defined as IPC students who attend a minimum of three workshops.

To measure the program's impact, 80% of participants attending three workshops are expected to demonstrate an increase in knowledge. This assessment is conducted through a pre-test at the beginning of the series and an experiential post-test, incorporating role-playing, art, music, etc., to showcase their competence in applying the soft skills learned during the workshops. The Ivy Pace Connection Program aligns with the foundation's commitment to fostering essential life skills and self-worth in young women, contributing to their personal and professional development.
